Hey! I’m so glad you stopped by for a visit. In the deep south, where porch sittin’ and sweet, iced tea is a welcome part of any day, our conversation is casual. Take a deep breath and relax. You’re with friends.
My fella and I have been married for 40+ years, and we have a beautiful daughter who is a joy. I come from a large extended family that is one of my biggest blessings.
Women’s ministry is my calling. Coaching, writing, and speaking are a few ways God uses me to pour into the lives of His girls. Women are so multi-faceted and resilient. I’m glad God decided He wanted another daughter. I love to talk and laugh, so should we meet, we would sit down for a chat and be laughing before we parted.
In many ways, I have life coached for years. I just didn’t know what to call it. Mentoring, lay counseling, and offering a listening ear (or text) were excellent growing grounds for the seeds of this ministry.
My dad was an alcoholic and I was molested by a friend’s dad when I was a child. Experiencing healing of my own damaged heart (through my relationship with Jesus) taught me tools I now offer the brokenhearted. Plowing through unhealthy thinking in my own life has helped me see how changing our perspective on our circumstances and situations changes our reaction. I like to call it Perspective Power!
I received my certification as a Board Certified Advanced Life Coach through Light University and the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Strong women are my heritage. My mom is my hero. She moved into her eternal home with Jesus in 2018. Mom lived her life as a forward thinker. She demonstrated over and over that no matter how often life knocks you down, you get up, dust yourself off, and start again. She had a contagious inner joy. With her beautiful playful spirit, she brought a smile to everyone around her.
Big family gatherings, church potlucks, and getting together with friends are some of my favorite times. Studying God’s Word, especially with a group of women, brings me joy. Learning together builds friendships for a lifetime.
I love the beach — the sound of the waves, the smell of the salty air, and the breeze blowing in off the water ministers to me deeply. Ahhh, and let’s not forget toes in the sand. I am hoping that God will set me up in a cute little bungalow on the beach with a closet full of chocolate for my eternal home with Him. :) For now, my family calls the Bayou State home.
I covet your prayers. More than ever, I need Holy Spirit to anoint my words – whether spoken or written – with His power, His wisdom, His compassion, and His understanding. My prayer is that Jesus, the ultimate Life Coach, and Hope Giver will shine so very brightly through His divine connections.
Wherever you are in life, you are welcome here. I sure hope you stop by for another visit soon!
