When Station Wagons and Ice Cream Look Like Jesus

“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 2:3-5 (ESV)

Most of us wander through life without any sense of how much we impact those around us. We all have a circle of influence. A circle that is changed because we are included. The footprints we leave, the seeds we plant, are life-giving and nourishing or weeds that no one needs in their lives.

Sister Mara Larche was a soul gardener that planted crop after crop of good seeds.

Impacting lives happens when we are willing to give without the promise of getting.
